A few Guinea pig questions!!?

Guinea Pig nails can be extremely hard to clip or extremely easy. It all depends on how tame your guinea pig is really. When I first got my guinea pigs I got so frustrated while clipping their nails because it took forever and they squirmed all over. Basically the easiest way to clip their nails is to be under a light (so you can see the quick) and have someone hold your guinea pig while you carefully clip the nails. I clip my guinea pigs nails with a regular human nail clipper. And for your second question this is totally normal. No need to worry. We call this action, "popcorning" and excited guinea pig will do this. so basically your guinea pig is excited that you let it out of the cage.
