If this coalition government were not elected, and the pre election promises broken, what does that make them?

each party before the election, told us what they would do if elected. after the election we had a coalition. this means they have to compromise to some extent. lib- dems and torys have to abandon some of their plans. no one, not even clueless labour knew what a colossal mess this country was in. changes have to be made to sort things out.
